Ohio Health Care Professionals' Pandemic-Related Help-Seeking Knowledge, Behaviors, and Concerns

A 2021 survey of Ohio health care professionals on their awareness and use of Employee Assistance Programs and Professional Health Programs during the COVID-19 pandemic. Fewer than a quarter had used these supports; barriers included limited awareness, time commitment, and confidentiality concerns. The authors recommend comprehensive wellness programs and brief intervention strategies to address burnout.
