Global Implementation Research and Applications, 3(2), 147-161

Describes a three-stage process for developing an implementation blueprint to scale up contraception care for adolescents in a pediatric psychiatric hospital: convening a 41-member research advisory board and conducting formative evaluation, tracking implementation activities over 18 months, and producing a final blueprint of 16 goals and 16 implementation strategies. The project champion played a key role in turning the plan into action.
